(1) SHN's
Eureka office is seeking a Project Surveyor/Crew Chief (L.S.I.T.) with 5+ years
experience and capabilities in field and office survey tasks. Under the
direction of Licensed Land Surveyors, the Project Surveyor/Crew Chief will
perform a wide variety of field and office survey tasks. This position requires
strong field skills in boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, for all
phases of residential subdivisions, commercial development and public works
projects. Strong office skills in survey calculations and drafting, and working
on a multi-discipline team also required.
Experience
using conventional, GPS, and robotic equipment, and experience using AutoCAD
and Land Development Desktop is essential. Specifically Leica
1200 series robotic total station; Carlson SurvCE
data collection software; Trimble GPS equipment; ACAD/LDD 2007; and ACAD Civil
3D
Education/Registrations/Certifications:
Oregon or California L.S.I.T., or ability to obtain thru comity within 1
year.

SHN's
Eureka office is seeking a Senior Professional Surveyor/Department Head to
manage the Eureka survey department, develop projects, schedule projects,
schedule personnel, manage projects & personnel, and mentor personnel in
all offices. Also, the Senior Professional Surveyor/Department Head will
provide quality assurance/control in all offices and be responsible for operations
and direction of department and for personnel within department. The
Senior Professional Surveyor/Department Head must be a leader who is able to
inspire others. The primary function of this position is to support the
Service Director by acting as their local
representative; to manage the department; to oversee the technical quality of
projects; to hire, train, and retain technical staff; to commit technical resources
to projects; and to perform business development activities in conjunction with
the Regional Managers.
Experience
